The delicious food cooking is one of the culture and the habit of Minangkabau community. This is due to frequent fellowship of the festival, which requires the presentation of delicious food. Minangkabau cuisine is not only served to Minangkabau community only, but also has to be consumed by the communities throughout the archipelago. The ordinary Minang people sell their food like rendang, spicy acid, soto padang sate padang and dendeng balado at home eat that used to be known as Padang restaurants. Padang restaurants not only spread across Indonesia, but also many in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands and the United States. Rendang one of Minangkabau traditional foods, has been hailed as the most delicious food in the world. Minangkabau cuisine is a rich cuisine will variation of herbs. Therefore many cooked using spices such as chili, lemon grass, galangal into slices, turmeric, ginger, garlic and red onion. Palm oil is one of the elements forming the taste of the Minang cuisine. The main material Minang cuisine among others beef, mutton, chicken, fish and eel. The Minangkabau only serving halal foods, so they avoid alcohol and fat pigs. In addition Minangkabau cuisine also does not use chemicals to dye, preservatives and seasonings taste.
